Current Projects

Gender Neutral Bathrooms

This campaign will be continuing throughout the year. We're currently working with UNSW EDI and the Science Faculty to convert the bathroom near the Queer Space to be gender-neutral, and we've recieved the backing of the UNSW SRC in pushing this campaign. More information is available on the Project Page.

We also have a blog post about the best ways to get involved with the campaign.

New Queer Space

Over the last few years, QC members have noticed several issues regarding maintenance and potential safety hazards with the current Queer Space. As a result, the Queer Officers are lobbying UNSW and Arc to provide a space in the more modern facilities at Kensington, where buildings were designed with accessibility in mind.

SRC Crisis Spaces

The Queer Collective is starting a new initiative in Term 2 to create emergency short-term accommodation for UNSW students.
